Amazon Coupons are digital coupons that showcase discounts and promote your products. This promotion option allows you to offer a percentage off your item or a dollar off discount. Customers “clip” the coupon and add the product to the cart. When they checkout, the discount is automatically applied.
Amazon coupons are based on a maximum budget. This budget is used for the standard $0.60 Coupon Referral Fee and the amount of the coupon discount. For example, if you sell a $10 product and offer a $1 coupon, a total of $1.60 is deducted from your set budget. When the maximum budget is used or the time frame expires, the coupon is deactivated. Note that the Amazon Coupon Referral Fee is only deducted when checkout is completed; you are not charged if the coupon is clipped, but the product is not purchased.
When setting up an Amazon coupon, you’ll choose the ASIN(s) the coupon to apply to, the discount you want to offer, a budget, and a time frame. Your coupon will be available until the end date or until your budget runs out.
