The User Explorer report in Google Analytics – located under the “Audience” tab – offers insights into individual anonymous visitor interactions on a website. Looking at User Explorer, you can see a list of IDs of clients who have visited your site, how often they’ve visited, the time spent, if they’ve converted, and the revenue made from each.
Clicking on a Client ID leads you to that particular user’s activity, and shows you exactly how that particular visitor behaved. The information is broken down by date and time, and shows you what specific pages on your site they visited, what products they viewed, if items were added to a cart, if items were purchased and more.
User Explorer offers marketers the opportunity to gain valuable insights into visitor behavior and site interaction, which can then be used to assess website usability and alter as needed.
