Once you’ve logged into Constant Contact and chosen the template you want to use, you’re ready to begin adding photos and text.
To add images to your account and to your email campaigns, click on the “images” tab and then on “upload.”
Once your photo library has images in it, you simply drag them onto your email layout, into the image placeholder element. If you decide you want a different photo, just double-click the image in the layout to replace it.
Edit an Image
Constant Contact allows you to edit an image as well. To edit, click the image in your layout ONCE, which will bring up a box where you can insert an image link, insert an image description, and resize the image if necessary.
Write Your Email Content
To add email content, click on a text box in your email layout. You can either type in your content or copy and paste from another document.
From the text editing menu, you can modify fonts, alignment, bullet points, add links, or delete the text box completely. Once you’re happy with the overall look, click “done.” This is a good time to preview your email and make sure it looks and reads the way you want it to.
When you’re ready, the next step is learning how to add contacts and schedule an email.
