There are four steps to the inbound marketing methodology.
The first step is Attract. In this step, you focus on using blogging, SEO, and social publishing to attract the right top of funnel traffic to your website. It’s important to do keyword research to determine the blog topics your audience in interested in.
The second step is Convert. In this step, you focus on turning visitors into leads by collecting their email via Call-to-Actions or forms. eBooks and whitepapers are tools you should use to convert visitors.
Third is Close, where you nurture leads until they become customers. To do this, you’ll want a CRM marketing automation platform in place that allows you to customize your email workflows and segment your customer lists.
Last is Delight, where you use content to elevate your customers into referrals. By continuing to provide value to your existing customers, you’re keeping them engaged and delighted. The happier your customers are, the more likely they’ll be to refer your products or services.
