You can add products in Walmart Marketplace via bulk upload or manually one product at a time. If you have a small catalog, here’s how to add a single item in Walmart Seller Center.
Login to Walmart Marketplace to view the Manage Items dashboard and click + New Item.
Create your item by filling in the product name, the identifier (UPC, EAN), and choosing a category. If another item in the Walmart catalog uses the same ID, there will be a match result. If you already have this item in your catalog, the existing sku will populate and you can edit the item.
If the product doesn’t exist, you’ll need to fill in the required attributes, which include SKU, product description, etc. To improve product searchability, fill out recommended and optional content attributes like Key Features. The + Add option adds additional values and these appear on the listing in the order they are entered.
Add images. Click on the Imagery and Media tab near the top of the Item Create page. Click on Add Images, and choose whether to upload images or add images by url. Make sure your main image is marked as Primary. If you have more than three images, you can rank the order they appear under the Rank column.
After images are loaded, click on the Offers tab near the top of the page. Here you’ll add the required product price and shipping weight. Add additional information for best results.
After you’ve worked your way through required information on the 3 tabs, green checkmarks will appear on each tab and the Submit button will activate. Once your product is set up, you can click Submit at the bottom of the page, or save as a draft for up to 30 days. Once submitted, it may take up to 4 hours to process.
