GoSend enables global consumers to purchase from any U.S. retailer at prices only Americans typically have access to. To do this, consumers fund their account and shop online. These consumers are provided with their own U.S. mailing address, which is a virtual locker at the company’s warehouse. Anyone outside of the U.S. can shop and have products delivered to the locker, which saves them the costs associated with international shipping.

The company and its warehouse are based in Delaware, which is one of only 5 U.S. states to have no sales tax. In addition to decreased shipping costs, this saves global consumers from having to pay additional sales tax fees. So consumers can shop tax-free at U.S. retailers, items are shipped to the company’s facility and are then consolidated to save shoppers anywhere from 30 to 70%.

Once items arrive at the Delaware warehouse, the company sends confirmation and photos to the consumer, and if the product is incorrect or not what the consumer was expecting, it can be returned without the international costs.

Consumers may leave orders in their locker for up to 60 days, and GoSend will ship orders in bulk to the consumer’s international address at a significantly lower cost than having each order delivered individually. Consumers can also pick and choose which items they want shipped at any given time and uses companies like USPS, UPS, DHL and FedEx to get shipments to international shoppers safely and securely.
