Did you know you can sell custom products on Google Shopping? Products that don’t have global trade item number (GTIN, UPC, EAN, JAN, ISBN) or manufacturer part number (MPN) can still be approved in the Google Merchant Center and sold on Google Shopping as long as you have your own eCommerce site.
Products that would qualify for the “custom goods” category include collectibles, artwork, vintage items like antique clothes or furniture, books published before 1970, handmade products, custom made goods, and other specialty items. Each product category has different requirements for custom products, so please refer to Google’s official category list here.
Generally, if a data feed is submitted as a .txt. or .cvs file, custom goods should be submitted with”identifier_exists” filled in with “FALSE”.
