Photo Equipment Company Achieves 30% Increase in Amazon Sales
Our client sells professional photography equipment, including cameras and camera kits, lighting, camcorders, and drones.
The company needed direction with their Amazon Seller Central account. With a high cost-per-click (CPC) and lackluster sales, they sought to decrease their CPC while increasing traffic. In addition, they sought to build brand recognition for their camera and lens kits.
The Vertical Rail team took over management of the company’s Seller Central account and began by optimizing the company’s products for Amazon. Using both automatic and manual targeting, we built out new custom ad campaigns based on the company’s most popular products. We managed performance of the Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands ad campaigns and made adjustments as needed based on data.
Through these efforts, our client met and surpassed expectations. Comparing the periods of December 15, 2016 – March 15, 2017 and December 15, 2017 – March 15, 2018, our client saw impressive increases in clicks and overall orders. In addition, there was a significant decrease in CPC.
