Google just announced their introduction of shopping ads into image search.
This means that now ads for related products will appear as customers search Google Images, so they can click through to buy them. (Note: This is currently a mobile only feature.)
Shopping ads are automatically eligible to show in image search, if your campaign is opted in to Search partners.
This change was inspired by feedback from Google Images users. The top questions users ask are “What’s the price of this?” and “Where can I buy it?” Google introduced Shopping ads into Google Images as response to these questions.
