Customized Dynamic Ads Bring Your Shoppers Back

Today we are happy to learn that Google has introduced dynamic remarketing to clients with a Google Merchant Center account. In a nutshell, this new feature gives e-tailers the ability to customize their retargeting to each consumer as they browse the Web. Dynamic remarketing showcases specific products and offers, based on a shopper’s past activity on your site. A few examples are:
- Someone comes to your site, but doesn’t look at any specific products. The dynamic remarketing ad will then highlight some of your best selling items.
- A shopper has looked at several products on your site, perhaps placed a few in their cart, but didn’t finalize the transaction. The dynamic ad will then feature those items, as well as related products that may also be of interest.
- A customer who has made a purchase on your site will be presented with an ad featuring products related to that sale. Oh, you just bought a swimsuit… you may also want to purchase some sandals!
Google is making it very easy for e-tailers to get started with this new dynamic remarketing feature. They have a variety of creative templates that can be tailored to match your brand and messaging in a matter of minutes.
