Bing Shopping

Bing Shopping is a comparison shopping engine that is owned and operated by Microsoft Corp. It was launched in May of 2008 under the name Bing Cashback, which was a shopping service that offered consumers cash back on products they bought through the site. In 2010, Microsoft renamed the engine Bing Shopping and terminated the cash back program.

The goal of Bing Shopping is to include as many merchants as possible and provide shoppers with an extensive amount of information to improve their online shopping experience. Unlike Bing Cashback, Bing Shopping is free for merchants and is designed to compete directly with Google Shopping. Bing Shopping is also entering the social media realm by integrating Facebook and Twitter into the interface, which allows shoppers to share products with members of their social networks.

Cost of Listing Products in Bing Shopping

Bing Shopping is completely free for both merchants and consumers. Unlike many other comparison shopping engines, there is no cost-per-click fee, flat rate, or start-up fee. Also, there is currently no limit to the number of products that a merchant can list on the Bing Shopping site.
